Anchor Machine was tasked with the job of designing and install a new ladder system for a customer. The old ladder had become less user friendly as time went on so the need for an updated and more practical application became clear.
They asked us to design a system that was more practical and ergonomically efficient. They are constantly walking up and down a steep-angled step ladder with items in hand.
We developed a three-tiered system, made from 6061 aluminum, with a small 3 foot platform in the middle that also increased the angle and incorporated handrails for both sides. The new ladder alleviated all their issues and the customer was thrilled with the end result.
Once completed the next step was to transport and install. With our experienced technicians we were able to remove the old ladder, design, build and install the ladder in a safe and efficient manner.
